Space Availability - Digital Scholarship Lab

The Digital Scholarship Lab offers two reservable spaces for media editing, collaboration, and learning.

Microsoft Surface Hub

The Surface Hub Group space is an open study area equipped with a 90" touch screen panel and interactive whiteboard located on the lower-level of Raynor Library. This space is great for video conferencing, group brainstorming sessions or drafting digital art projects. 

Digital Media Editing Room 

The editing room is a dedicated reservable space for editing multimedia projects. Located on the first floor of Raynor Library, the room is equipped with a Mac Studio and two podcast mics on boom arms, the room includes Audacity, Final Cut Pro, and Adobe Creative Cloud applications. The room can comfortably accomodate groups up to 3. Please check-in at the Library Services Desk to have the room unlocked. If you need help getting started, then you must fill out a request for a consultation.

Room Reservation Guidelines

 

  • Same day reservations must be made before the desired end time.
  • Reservations are for a 2 hour maximum.
  • Reservations are held for no more than 10 minutes.
  • Accompanying wireless keyboard and styluses can be checked out at the Digital Scholarship Lab desk. 
  • Please check in with the Digital Scholarship Lab desk for questions or concerns about your reservation.
